Exams: Chapter and book-level tests available in Practice and Test modes. Chapter quizzes consist of 25 multiple-choice items drawn from a bank of 60 items. Book tests are 60-item multiple-choice tests drawn from the complete bank of 900 items.

  • Practice mode provides immediate feedback. Scores are not reported to the instructor.
  • Test mode scores the exam and reports results to the instructor and to the student by e-mail.
  • Chapter exams are available by clicking a particular chapter on the Home screen.
  • Book exams are available only at the Home screen by clicking Course Exams under Book Resources.

  • Click Printer Friendly in the lower-right corner to print an image and its term (or vice versa).

  • In Test mode, both student and instructor receive a results report that includes the number and percentage of items answered correctly, the specific items answered incorrectly along with the correct answer and the chapter objective (from list on chapter opener).
