This page provides information about Forums and Discussion Topics.
If you are enrolled in more than one course, select a course from the course navigation pane on the left side of the page. SNAP displays the links specific to that course. Your instructor will add a forum to your course if he or she chooses to use this functionality.
To view a Forum,
The Forum page is displayed.
To view a Discussion Topic,
The Forum page is displayed.
Click on a Discussion Topic title link.
The Discussion Topic thread is displayed.
To modify how discussion topic replies appear, select an option in the Display replies... drop-down list.

To add a Discussion Topic,
The Forum page is displayed.
Click the Add a new discussion topic button.
Specify a post title in the Subject textbox.
Enter the post text in the web-based editor.
Specify whether or not to send email copies of post made to the discussion topic.
Optional: To include a file attachment, click the Browse... button and navigate to a file on your computer.
Click the Post to forum button.

To edit a post,
The Forum page is displayed.
Click on a Discussion Topic title link.
The Discussion Topic thread is displayed.
Click the Edit link.
Specify a post title in the Subject textbox.
Enter the post in the web-based text editor.
Specify whether or not to send email copies of post made to the discussion topic.
Optional: To include a file attachment, click the Browse... button and navigate to a file on your computer.
Click the Post to forum button.

To reply to a post,
The Forum page is displayed.
Click on a Discussion Topic title link.
The Discussion Topic thread is displayed.
Click the Reply link.
Specify a post title in the Subject textbox.
Enter the post text in the web-based editor.
Specify whether or not to send email copies of post made to the discussion topic.

To delete a post,
The Forum page is displayed.
Click on a Discussion Topic title link.
The Discussion Topic thread is displayed.
Click the Delete link.
Click the Yes button.
