Taking

PEs are activities that allow students to update live Microsoft Office files of Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel. They consist of end-of-chapter activities that assess the students’ knowledge of the entire chapter. When a student clicks on a PE assignment from the assignments page of the SNAP 2010 LMS, a single MS Office file is opened.

Taking a Performance Evaluation

To take a performance evaluation,

If you are enrolled in more than one course, select a course from the course navigation pane on the left side of the page. SNAP displays the links specific to that course.

1. Click on a Performance Evaluation link on the course content page.

2. Click the Launch Attempt button.

3. Click the Launch button.

• A MS Office file opens.

4. Complete each step described at the bottom of the screen.

• Use the Next Step button to move from step-to-step within the same file.

• The MS Office File can be reset to its original state without penalty.

5. When all the necessary changes have been made, click the Check Answer button.

• All of the steps must be viewed before clicking on the “Check Answer” button.
