Sara Hyry grew up in Rockport, Massachusetts. Hyry has loved reading as long as she can remember. "My interest in writing grew out of my love of reading. I wanted to be able to create connections for others as my favorite authors had done for me," says Hyry. Hyry majored in English and also studied literature in other languages at Mount Holyoke College and in Florence, Italy. Hyry's interests include cooking, and she has studied regional cuisine in her travels. She also plays and coaches field hockey. Currently, Hyry is a writer and editor living in Massachusetts.
