3. Refer to page 267. Pretend you are Zlateh, the goat, and that you can speak English. Finish the dialogue between Aaron and Zlateh (you) by writing your response to Aaron's questions and comments.

Synonyms. A synonym is a word that has the same meaning as another word. For example, smile and grin are synonyms. Cleft is a word in "Zlateh the Goat." Brainstorm a short list of synonym (or near synonyms) of the word cleft. Then use a thesaurus to see if you can add more synonyms to your list.
