Litsa Boudalika is a documentary film producer. On a trip to Israel in 1988, she met Mervet and Galit and suggested that they write to each other. Since Boudalika, who is Belgian with Greek heritage, is neither Jewish nor Arab, she was able to act as a neutral observer. Eventually, Mervet and Galit met in person. Boudalika produced a documentary about their relationship, called Duo.
