Reader's Resource
The Big Money is the third volume in John Dos Passos’s trilogy U.S.A. “Newsreel LXVIII” focuses on issues related to the Great Depression of the 1930s, a time when millions of Americans were without work and facing severe economic hardship. At the time, strong and sometimes violent conflicts arose between those who felt that government should help and those who felt that it should not.
