In your notebook, create a sequence chart like the one on page 6 of your textbook.
1. Listen as your teacher reads the first five stanzas of the ballad aloud. After listening to these stanzas, add any significant happenings to your sequence chart.
2. Continue reading the ballad on your own. Keep adding key things that happen to your sequence chart as you read.
